The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) has made some significant changes to the current 2017 National Electric Code (NEC) that will affect the marina industry. - Explain the new definitions and how they impact the marina’s electrical systems
- Break down and explain the language of the Tentative Interim Amendment’s Ground-Fault Protection (GFP) requirements
- Explain where GFP is and is not required in the marina’s electrical system and the required trip levels of the GFP device
- Explain and provide examples of GFP coordination
- Explain the differences between Ground Fault Circuit interrupter (GFCI) and GFP
